Sunny days at Lyon

Due to the inetnse April heat... a little sun bathing was in order over the easter break :)

Wednesday evening Tim, Jenny Chrimes and I tripped over to Dover to catch a late night ferry over to France. Arriving at the wave by 9am we jumped straight on the wave. Near perfect levels formed a green wave for carving out onto.

Friday morning the French freestye team turned up for team training. The levels had dropped to around 400 cumecs and it was blunts, flash backs and backstabs that were retained.
My first trip into Lyon cenre, a city based either side of the river, spectacular in the evening light.

Two more days of paddling, watching the fish swimming underneath in the clear water. Once i learnt to catch the wave I was perfecting my blunts, left and right as well as setting up for the backstab.
